Some Video of The Dinner
Finally, after about 6 hours, we’re sitting around an incredibly solid table, with mountains of food for 30+ people, a 100+ photo’s on flickr (all on Nseries of course), and half a dozen videos on youtube, and some good drinks.
In some ways, so what, 20 folks got together, built a table, and cooked dinner, but this was a lot more fun that most teambuilding events. In the end we got together as a team and got to see folks that we work with everyday in a different context, with different challenges.
Our goal was an “online interactive dinner” and I think we did that, and then some. We had divided up into 3 teams, a food team, a web team and a table team; we all faced different challenges, and did different things but everyone delivered and contributed to the overall experience.
Thanks everybody.

When I got home from the bar very last night (rather soaked), I sat down in my living room for about 30 minutes. While looking at the table and browsing all the pictures and posts on the web, I could not stop smiling. I literally sat with a large white smile on my face, at times even chuckling out loud.
This is the greatest team, I trust we can and will build absolutely amazing things. There is so much creativity and energy around to sense and respond to what our customers want.
We have innovated today and we will not stop!
Thank you all for being such a great bunch!!
Everyone!
Here I am the day after – my kitchen still have the Mexican food flavor hanging everywhere, I have a table in my living room taking up almost all available space.
And yet – still smiling knowing that this team is very special and that you will create something very special for n-gage.
So as you move into your construction phase of that project – have yesterday in mind and remember to have fun; it makes it easier and you preformed better
I am looking forward to having you all back to a launch party – as our guests!
Good luck!
Big Shout out to Anders!
Going into this day I wasn’t so excited. Rainy, Cold, and meeting outside. Then when we got upstairs and started going through power points, I was thinking, why didn’t we just do this at the office and skip all the theatrics. Then…”we got to work”.
Great idea for a team building event. Great planning and thought went into this.
Nina,
Thanks for putting up with all those people in your home. I truly hope you enjoy your table. And I have to admit, I’ll have slightly hurt feelings if I hear that table is ever removed from the living room
